Fuse was set up following a very fruitful city wide Youth Alpha. A group of 40-50 young people continued meet and have questions, so Bath YFC in partnership with young Christians in the city established Fuse. Fuse is a drop in on a Wednesday night, with music, pool, refreshments; it provides a place for young people to relax and socialise safely with
peers. Each week a member of the team gives a short talk about the Christian faith, with space for discussion and questions. Fuse has a weekly attendance of about 40-60 young people. Young people give talks and carry out the majority of the youth work. It is not always easy but the team are being asked questions about God in school, are building relationships with all the young people who come along and there is a growing sense of community. We are excited to see how Fuse develops as it seeks to inspire and empower mission-minded young people as they take good news to their peers.
