What is Switch?
Switch is a twelve week course designed to introduce
the basics of the Christian faith to skaters aged
11-16. It is contextualised and relevant to skate
culture.
How does it run?
Switch is split into eleven, one hour sessions and
a weekend away. The content of the course is as follows;
1) Does God Exist?
2) What is God Like?
3) Why Isn't There Any Proof?
4) Why Does God Let Bad Stuff Happen?
5) Who is Jesus?
6) Why was Jesus Murdered?
7) What is Prayer and Does it Work?
8) What is the Bible For?
9) What is the Holy Spirit - WEEKEND AWAY
10) Isn't Church Just Boring and Old?
11) How Do I Live as a Christian?
12) Social & Questions
Switch comes with booklets for each young person
who takes the course. These have a similar look and
feel to skate magazines and are designed to accompany
the course as well as encourage further thinking and
reflection. A leader's pack is also provided with
a DVD, full descriptions of planning, preparation
and the running of the course. It also contains practical
ideas on what to do after the course has been completed.

Switch was written by One
Eighty, a Bath Youth for Christ project, taking
the good news relevantly to skaters in Bath and the
surrounding areas through our mobile skate park and
